Inktober 2022: Week 2
I survived week 1 of Inktober 2022, and what lies ahead of me is another week..
Personally, I'm not really a fan of most my illustrations this week. I think they are uninspired, unpolished, and kinda meh. However, I think the prompts contributed to that as most didn't really inspire me. Oh well!
Sooo... week 2, let's go!

Day 8: Match
Okay lemme explain why “Match” is a dog 😅 I initially wanted to make a UI of a MATCH 3 game with the dog as the mascot. However, I didn’t really like the match 3 concept so I scrapped it but the dog looked cute so I kept him 😆
Day 9: Nest
I wanted to try a painterly style and I’m actually kinda proud of it. I think it could benefit for more polish but hey this is pretty cool. I might do a redraw in the future 🪹🪺
Day 10: Crabby
Squidward with a KRABBY Patty, but in the style of a retro cartoon 📺
Looking at it now, however, I find Squiddy's head weird 😅 BUT! I kinda like how I did the subtle retro cartoon texture so there's that.
Day 11: Eagle
Decided to go simple and cutesy, so I drew Apollo from Animal Crossing! 🦅 ...
Okay I'm lying. I was being lazy at the time so I just made doodles 😅
Day 12: Forget
Oh god! Get rid of this! I think Keith Haring will be disappointed with this illustration because of how uninspired and basic it is. Oh god. But, in my defense, I didn't like the prompt.
Day 13: Kind
Three consecutive illustrations that are really poorly-made and clearly uninspired. I tried to make something out of this prompt, even if it's not really related. I tried out a different style, which is constructivist. Out of the 3 consecutive "bad" ones, I like this better because it at least looks cool.
Day 14: Empty
This was supposed to be a GIF but Behance won't let me! UGH! Anyway, this prompt led me to a very interesting take and I really like it!

Phew! That week was something. Not my best but hey, at least I completed it. I really hope the future prompts are actually creatively-stimulating like Empty or Week 1's prompts (or maybe I should stop being lazy? Hmmm)!
