Severance (and My Search for an "Art Style")
I absolutely LOVE Apple TV Plus' Severance. It is well-acted and very VERY intriguing. As you can see, I am obsessed with it. Ever since the season finale, it still lives in my head rent-free. So, I decided to recreate the poster BUT, to challenge myself, I will try to "reinvent" my style.
This is my typical art style. The shading isn't really that prominent. It's leaning more on the minimalistic type of thing.
I adore Thunder Rocket's art style, so I tried to recreate their shading technique in here. AND IT LOOKS SO MUCH BETTER.
I tried making one of those faux 3D artworks and I kinda dig it.
I tried using a stipple brush as I attempted to make a more vintage-like artwork but I don't really like how it ended up as.
